Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Origin Energy is looking for an experienced and creative Coordinator – HSE Management System to join our HSE team. This 12-month contracting role offers an exciting opportunity to not only maintain documents and content but also contribute to exciting projects to re-imagine the future of our HSE management system.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Create, update and maintain HSE management system documents and tools including policies, standards, guidelines, procedures, registers and forms, ensuring they are relevant and current and meet evolving legislative, organisational and market needs.
- Facilitate consultation processes, support operational teams and a HSEMS program team to ensure systems are fit for purpose and embedded across the business.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits.
- Work with the HSEMS project team to foster innovation in the design, development, and ongoing improvement of the HSE.
- Management System and integrate new technologies and best practices to enhance the usability and effectiveness of the HSE Management System.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be technically skilled and knowledgeable in HSE management systems in a complex operational environment. You’re a natural problem solver who brings energy and initiative to their tasks, highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities. You will be able to demonstrate;
- Strong understanding of and ability to develop and implement HSE Management Systems and Standards (e.g. ISO).
- Innovative approach to systems thinking combined with hands-on experience creating, editing and managing documents within a HSE context.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect and engage with people across the business and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with document management software, Microsoft Office and tools like OpenText, SharePoint and TeamBinder
