Invercare provides Home Care and Care at Home services within a number or regions in the west of Scotland. Our aim and mission is to promote excellence in the delivery of Social Care and to do that we need the best people to work with us.
We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, motivated and flexible people to join our home care services team as a Care Coordinator on a shift rota basis.
You will be required to undertake all relevant training for the post including attaining a SVQ3 in Social Care. It is preferable that you have experience of working in a care setting and delivering personal care or in an informal/personal capacity; have an awareness of a range of long term conditions and have an understanding of the needs of people who require help from care services; be able to demonstrate within your application form that you are reliable and flexible with the ability to work as part of a team. You will also be required to demonstrate that you can communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) and this would include monitoring and reporting changes in the identified needs of service users including the handling of sensitive information.
Aspects of the role will include but not be limited to, rota planning - management, compliance -audit checks, complaint handling, setting up care packages - undertaking reviews.
Applicants will be required to complete an enhanced disclosure PVG check and bring evidence of identity or right to work in the UK/EU. If short listed for interview you should bring with you 3 forms of Identification, one which should be photographic and evidence of your name and address.
