For further information visit: http://homewardtrust.ca/ Coordinator, Information Technology Position Summary The IT Coordinator supports the effective delivery and day-to-day operations of information technology (IT) services across the organization. Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology, and working closely with the IT team, this position is responsible for providing hands-on technical support, coordinating end-user setups, managing IT inventory, and assisting with the implementation of IT projects and processes. As a member of the Business Services team, the IT Coordinator contributes to the overall stability and functionality of Homeward Trust’s IT systems and tools. This includes ensuring timely support for users, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting system maintenance, and collaborating with both internal staff and external vendors. The IT Coordinator helps operationalize IT services to ensure consistent delivery, ongoing improvement, and alignment with organizational needs, while also promoting best practices in user support, asset management, and process documentation. Duties & Responsibilities Provide technical support for staff (hardware, software, user access). Set up and configure workstations, laptops, phones, and user accounts. Assist with onboarding and offboarding (equipment, system access, checklists). Maintain IT asset inventory and track hardware/software usage. Maintain organized IT files and records, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date. Coordinate with vendors for equipment orders, repairs, and software licensing. Support IT project tasks such as system updates, deployments, and training. Help document IT processes, system configurations, and user guides. Support email, file sharing, and communication tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint). Participate in system checks, backups, and scheduled maintenance. Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager or Senior IT. Qualifications Education & Experience Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or coordination role. Experience setting up and troubleshooting Windows PCs, printers, and basic network issues. Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and ticketing systems. Knowledge Skills & Abilities Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Comfortable working with both technical staff and non-technical users. Organized and detail-oriented, with good documentation habits. Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems or virtualization tools is an asset. Knowledge of the non-profit or housing sector is an asset. Additional Requirements Must be eligible to work in Canada.
