On behalf of our client, Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC), we are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Coordinator, Marketing & Communications to join their Manitoba team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, the Coordinator is responsible for supporting provincial short to long-term marketing programs, including sponsorship and agriculture awareness as well as coordinating and executing various communications projects and events. As the Coordinator, Marketing & Communications, you will:

  • Support the execution of provincial marketing initiatives, including event activations, sponsorships, and campaign rollouts.
  • Coordinate logistics and materials for agricultural awareness events, ensuring consistent messaging and a positive public experience.
  • Review contracts, process sponsorship and donation requests, and manage content for social media and websites.
  • Assist in the development of provincial marketing strategies, working closely with agencies, internal teams, and legal advisors.
  • Track and report on event performance and sponsorship effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead the planning and development of the annual report and manage website updates and performance analytics.
  • Respond to public inquiries and represent the organization at industry meetings and outreach events.
  • Monitor budgets and invoicing, ensuring accurate tracking of promotional inventory and marketing spend.

You and Your Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience coordinating marketing or communications programs, events, or sponsorships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for local travel.
