MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS TO PRACTICE AS A MCH NURSE IN VICTORIA, AS OUTLINED IN THE POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Extensive experience practising as an MCH nurse preferably in the Victorian MCH Service

We are seeking a Coordinator Maternal Child Family Health & Wellbeing to lead a multi-disciplinary team, inspiring and enacting change to push the boundaries of what is possible in order to deliver positive family outcomes.
You will play a central role in strategic planning, service development, and the implementation of evidence-based practices to enable the delivery of maternal and child health (MCH) services, immunisation services, and parenting support programs. Your leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered care that meets the diverse needs of our community, including vulnerable and at-risk populations.
In this influential position, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and community organisations to strengthen early years support systems and contribute to Council’s broader public health and well-being objectives.
This position requires both strategic insight and hands-on coordination, balancing the big picture with operational excellence. You will champion collaborative approaches and continuous improvement across the unit and the Community Support Department, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure that services reflect the diverse needs and voices of families in the community.
