Description Key Responsibilities: Assesses chronically, acutely and critically ill patients who have some degree of malnutrition. Participates in planning and implementing nutritional support therapies, tube feedings and the intravenous administration of nutrients. Oversees nursing care of patients receiving parenteral and enteral nutritional support and ensures adherence to nutritional support guidelines. Monitors patient response to therapy and evaluates the effectiveness of the nutritional support care plans. Serves as a resource person to physicians, nurses, patients and family members. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in nursing. Two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, of which one year must be in IV therapy and one year in an intensive care unit. Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY!
