Position Title: Coordinator Occupational Violence Prevention and Safety Reporting
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary Range: $84,4436 - $112,331 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 1)
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is resilient and passionate about keeping our staff safe. Ideally, you will bring:

  • Previous experience and an understanding of legislative structures and requirements.
  • Advanced ability to effectively use the computer packages PowerPoint, Word and Excel and other safety software.
  • Experience navigating complex organisational environments, with the ability to communicate effectively, provide strategic advice, and influence senior managers and key stakeholders to meet project needs.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a consistent track record of delivering high-quality outcomes within strict deadlines.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, able to work independently while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to critical OV initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Provide effective violence prevention guidance to all NSW Ambulance staff and other stakeholders
  • Liaise with stakeholders to provide timely information updates and reports for OV incidents.
  • Positively influence the culture of violence prevention in order to build an organisational commitment to effective risk management.
  • Be part of a fast-paced environment where your work directly supports emergency healthcare services across NS
