POSITION SUMMARY

CWHA is seeking a dedicated and organized Coordinator of Doula Programs to support the daily operations of our doula services. This program provides free, full-spectrum doula support—including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum services—to low-income families across New York City. The Coordinator will be responsible for administrative coordination, client-doula matching, community engagement, and communications support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nonprofit or corporate setting, ideally in an administrative or program support role.
  • Experience or familiarity with maternal and child health or doula services is a strong plus.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong commitment to CWHA’s mission and community-centered approach.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities; professional phone and email etiquette.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with data management systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Confident using digital tools and social media platforms (e.g., Zoom, Calendly, Facebook, YouTube).
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic office equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events or outreach.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
