The School of Biomedical Engineering (SBME) is one of six academic units in the Faculty of Engineering. The School of Biomedical Engineering at Western promotes the cooperative involvement of clinical and basic researchers in disciplines including biomaterials, biomechanics, mechatronics and imaging. Our programs encourage multidisciplinary links between Western Engineering, Health Sciences, and Science; the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Robarts Research Institute, Lawson Health Research Institute and teaching hospitals at Western University.

The Coordinator-Officer will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support a program, research project, department, or other business unit. The incumbent will create and manage the schedule of seminar speakers and session chairs. The incumbent will publicize seminars within the School of BME and to the broader Western community. The Coordinator Officer will support the attendance at the Record Student Seminar and will submit reports to the Director of Graduate Studies of the School of Biomedical Engineeering (SBME).
Qualifications
Education:
-Undergraduate Degree, in Business Management/Administration -Preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science - Preferred
Experience:
-Experience participating in scientific seminars - Preferred
