The Opportunity This position will provide production elements to the various departments at FedExForum as well as external clients. The responsibilities include assisting the Production Manger during live events, providing preventative maintenance on production assets and scheduling / payroll of part-time staff. The Coordinator will also lead ancillary internal events and provide input on capital projects and the operating budget. In This Role You Will Provide preventative maintenance on production assets alongside the Production Manager; Forecast capital and operational expenses pertaining to infrastructure and equipment repairs and/or replacement parts; Work on capital improvement projects as well as day to day repairs of current assets; Assist in the staffing and training of Audio 1, Audio 2 and Lighting Technicians; Create relationships with vendor partners to stay ahead of technology advances so we can continually enhance the fan and client experience at FedExForum. Coordinate rentals for production and event support. Inventory and expendable ordering including asset management and invoicing. Ability to communicate technical information to clients and non-technical staff. Attentiveness to internal and external clients in pre-production and during events, games & meetings. Organize, document, and communicate best practices and training on new equipment or production workflow. Other duties as assigned The Experience You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. At least two years of relevant experience in Theatrical Lighting, Audio and/or Sports Production. At least one year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of production equipment – Grand M.A., Yamaha Audio and Ross Video. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks constantly. Able to meet deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Dynamic, hard-working, confident. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required. Nice to Have: Knowledge and passion of the Sports & Entertainment Industry.
