The Raw Materials Coordinator ensures that each creation or product idea is developed using the best raw materials. They define the textile strategy and contribute to fabric development. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to support fabric selection that meets quality, speed, cost, and innovation objectives. With solid industry experience, they master the entire textile development process—from design to production—while optimizing cost and value considerations. Main Responsibilities • Contribute to the collaboration strategy with fabric mills and suppliers, support material selection and compliance, and participate in seasonal management and optimization of raw materials. • Contribute to collaboration with suppliers, support material selection, and assist in raw material management and optimization. • Ensure smooth production coordination with suppliers by tracking deliveries and quality, resolving issues quickly, and keeping production information up to date. • Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and suppliers by ensuring clear alignment and effective sharing of production updates. • Manage the material library and reservations, coordinate commitments with suppliers, and proactively resolve production issues with internal teams. Desired Profile • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in textile science or fashion, or relevant experience. • At least 4 years of experience in fabrics or the textile industry with expertise in fabric development. • In-depth knowledge of knits, construction, research and development, testing, and sustainability in textiles. • Strong knowledge of fabrics and experience in weaving, prints, dyeing, finishing, treatments, and wash techniques, as well as manufacturing capabilities. • Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) to communicate with all stakeholders. • Knowledge and understanding of merchandising and product development, with a strong sense of fashion and style. • Availability to travel abroad as needed.
