SHUTDOWN COORDINATOR – WEIPA NORTHERN OPERATIONS

Roster: Mon- Fri, 9 Day fortnight

Lead with purpose. Deliver with precision. We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Shutdown Coordinator to lead our Northern Operations shutdown maintenance team in Weipa. This is a key leadership role where you’ll oversee shutdown activities, manage a team of tradespersons, and ensure our asset management processes are executed to the highest standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Shutdown Coordinator for organising a team of 15–30 Maintenance Tradespersons during planned shutdowns. You’ll ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our asset management strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead trade employees in executing maintenance tasks
• Allocate resources and coverage for breakdowns and shutdowns
• Resolve on-the-job issues and ensure smooth execution of planned maintenance
• Monitor safety practices and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols
• Drive consistency in applying asset management processes across all activities
