About the role The Coordinator, Sport and Recreation is responsible for enhancing students experience, engagement and wellbeing through the provision of a range of programs, activities and events. These programs are aimed at promoting active and healthy communities, as well as creating opportunities for social interaction, participation and competition with an overall objective to improve student engagement. Travel to other campuses is required. Travel to sporting events around Australia is required with the possibility of international travel based on results. You will: develop and implement a framework and action plan that underpins the Fed Sport strategy targeting broad participation and engagement; coordinate the performance and participation of sport programs; lead the delivery of social and recreation sports, representative and competitive events and programs; and coordinate the delivery of a high-quality Elite Athlete and sport leadership program About you Reporting to the Manager, Student Partnerships and Engagement, you will possess the demonstrated ability to deliver high quality sports development programs that can raise the profile of the co-curricular student experience. You will possess demonstrated: communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to liaise with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders; ability to work within a changing higher education landscape, integrating new ideas and technology to enhance engagement, participation, and performance; excellent organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work to tight timelines and to plan and coordinate administrative workflows to achieve goals and meet deadlines; and analytical skills, including the ability to prepare reports and recommendations.
