THE ROLE

Are you a strategic leader passionate about shaping workforce culture and performance in local government?
Join us as the Coordinator Strategy and Performance, where your day-to-day will involve collaborating with diverse teams, driving cultural and workforce development, and ensuring effective implementation of key policies and initiatives within our Organisational Strategy and People Department.

IN THIS KEY LEADERSHIP ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and implement workforce strategies and policies that align with our organisational values and long-term vision, turning strategic objectives into actionable initiatives that enhance our workforce culture and performance.
  • Drive cultural improvement and champion change across our diverse departments, fostering an engaged, high-performing workplace that is resilient and adaptable to our community’s needs.
  • Act as conduit between senior leadership and your team to ensure that work is aligned to organisational priorities and delivers upon our vision and mission.
  • Leverage data analytics to inform decision-making, evaluate the impact of initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in workforce strategies and policies.
  • Lead collaboratively, empowering your team to develop their skills, take ownership of their work, and deliver impactful results that reflect our commitment to service excellence.
  • Ensure the ongoing development, implementation and facilitating reviews of Council’s strategic and operational plans.
