JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management systems within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all processes, procedures, and standards align with the company’s quality policies and regulatory requirements. The Quality Systems Coordinator will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, maintain documentation, and support audits to achieve high-quality production outcomes.

ACADEMIC/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Certificate in quality management standards. (ie: Certified Quality Auditor, or Quality Engineer)Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to the manufacturing industry. (ie: ISO, TS, IATF, SPC etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality systems coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently to provide professional guidance and oversight to inspection tasks and projects in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of using basic computer applications and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and quality management software.
• Speak with managers and supervisors to explain the progress of jobs and to obtain instructions and tasks. Organize and lead meetings with employees.Ability to interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. Knowledge in gauging methods, calibration, and measurement system analysis. Understand testing and inspection requirements.
