What you will be doing Planifier et veiller à la bonne coordination des travaux sous sa responsabilité avec les contremaîtres, arpenteurs, surintendants, ingénieurs,chargés de projet et sous-traitants; Planifier, superviser et participer à l’élaboration des méthodes et procédés de construction appropriés liés auxexigences contractuelles, tout en respectant les exigences en matière de santé et sécurité en vigueur; Collaborer à l’estimation et aux soumissions de projets; Participer aux réunions avec les intervenants internes et externes; Assister, réviser et communiquer les questions techniques et les demandes de modification aux représentants internes et externes duclient et effectuer les suivis nécessaires; Participer à l’obtention des les permis et les autorisations requises pour l’exécution des travaux; Assister le surintendant dans diverses tâches administratives et techniques; doublons avec point 1 Planifier et vérifier les commandes de matériau;x Faire le suivi (validation du contenu) des dessins d’atelier et autres documents contractuels exigés au besoin; Coordonner la constructibilité conception des ouvrages temporaires requis pour l’avancement du chantier avec les ingénieursconcepteurs internes et externes; Participer à la réalisation et la mise à jour des échéanciers de projet; Inspecter et documenter la qualité des ouvrages temporaire et/ou permanents du projet NEW Effectuer diverses tâches de suivi sur le chantier. Les travaux à réaliser peuvent être sur la terre ferme ou sur barges. Plan and ensure proper coordination of all work under your responsibility with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors. Plan, supervise, and participate in the development of construction methods and procedures appropriate to contractual requirements, while complying with current health and safety standards. Collaborate on project estimating and bidding. Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Assist with, review, and communicate technical questions and change requests to internal and external client representatives, and carry out the required follow‑ups. Participate in obtaining the permits and authorizations required for the execution of the work. Assist the superintendent with various administrative and technical tasks (note: potential overlap with point 1). Plan and verify material orders. Follow up on shop drawings and other required contractual documents (content validation). Coordinate the constructability and design of temporary works required for site progress with internal and external design engineers. Participate in the creation and updating of project schedules. Inspect and document the quality of temporary and/or permanent project works. (New) Perform various site follow‑up tasks. Work may take place on land or on barges. What we are looking for Baccalauréat en génie civil, en génie de la construction, en technologie du génie civil ou toute autre combinaison pertinente d’expérience et de formation Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en construction Maîtrise de Microsoft Word et Excel, connaissance de base de MS Project; AutoCAD est un atout Sens de l’urgence et dynamisme Capacité à travailler dans de grandes équipes Planification, organisation et excellentes relations interpersonnelles Faire preuve d’initiative, de discrétion et de professionnalisme Prévoyant, capacité à gérer la pression, disponible Rigueur dans son travail Excellente capacité à lire et comprendre les plans et les devis du projet Motivation à participer à des projets d’envergure de grande complexité Faire preuve de créativité dans la recherche de solutions Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or any other combination of experience and equivalent training Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; basic knowledge of MS Project; AutoCAD is an asset Strong sense of urgency and energy. Ability to work effectively within large teams. Excellent planning, organizational skills, and interpersonal relations. Demonstrates initiative, discretion, and professionalism. Proactive, able to manage pressure, and available when needed. Rigorous and detail‑oriented in their work. Excellent ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
