JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirements:

  • University education in communications and marketing (bachelor’s degree) or other relevant training.

Technical Skills:

  • 0-2 years’ experience in digital marketing and communications (any other relevant experience will be considered);
  • Excellent mastery of french and english (spoken and written);
  • Knowledge and mastery of social media tools and strategies, and of various artificial intelligence software;
  • Proficiency in office automation software - Office suite.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice-President, Human Capital and Outreach, the jobholder will take part in and contribute to the development of digital marketing, with the aim of stimulating outreach and promoting the activities of Groupe DCM. Their role will be to promote a brand image and organise the distribution of information on behalf of our Group.
The position may be based in Blainville, Montreal or Saint-Bruno.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department to identify the actions required to enhance the DCM Group’s reputation, including staffing, the employee experience and commitment;
  • Create a distinctive employee experience by favouring a work environment where everyone can achieve their full potential, by implementing initiatives that stimulate mobilisation and commitment;
  • Help develop a strong and inspiring culture that values innovation, continuous learning and employee well-being;
  • Collaborate with management to identify topics relevant to the development of the DCM Group;
  • Developing and writing the Group’s relevant corporate communications (internal and external) and distributing them on the various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.);
  • Implement the various activities in the Group’s communications plan;
  • Assisting in the design and implementation of a social media strategy, managing the Group’s accounts, developing media platforms and suggesting content;
  • Participate in the design, writing, editing and distribution of a wide range of information, promotional and advertising tools aimed at external and internal audiences in order to achieve the objectives of the communications plan;
  • Working with the various departments and supporting them in their communication needs;
  • Design various visuals, banners and videos for the web and social networks;
  • Suggest new trends and best practices on social networks;
  • Plan a content calendar for the various social media;
  • Organise events for the social and cultural life of the various plants, employees and customers;
  • Identify risks and opportunities by producing analyses of the market, performance and return on investment, and implement solutions accordingly;
  • Produce statistical reports and monitor performance indicators;
  • Carry out any other related tasks.
