Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Engineering Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Engineering department, ensuring the smooth coordination of maintenance activities, guest and departmental requests, and vendor interactions. This role involves managing office functions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with preventative maintenance, inventory, and emergency response procedures to uphold Four Seasons standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Ability to oversee the aspects of all general office administration according to Four Seasons standards
  • Follow and complete all payroll records and procedures.
  • Assist guests and departments by receiving maintenance requests and promptly communicating them to the Engineers on duty, while keeping a detailed log of all guest-related calls concerning the maintenance of rooms, equipment, or public areas.
  • Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, and financial reports using word processing, spreadsheets, and other database programs.
  • Coordinate the maintenance of the physical plant and associated equipment.
  • Respond to contractor and service calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner
  • Coordinate cleaning of all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
  • Handle the calendars for the Director of Engineering for appointments with contractors and vendors
  • Assist Director of Engineering with purchase order system
  • Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
  • Assist all other related tasks and projects
