DougallMedia, Thunder’s Bay’s only locally owned broadcast/multimedia company, has an exciting opening as a Copy Coordinator in our Traffic team. We are looking for an individual with exceptional attention to detail, and who will ensure accuracy in all facets of the position. You must be able to handle urgent revisions, deal with various departments, and be responsible for checking materials and content in a seamless manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for assigning commercial numbers for the Creative department, and adding and revising scheduling instructions. Familiarity with SDS or similar corporate software would be considered an asset. If you have solid organization and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, let us know why you are the one that we should hire.

  • Local and National Radio Creative
  • Local and National Television Creative
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Coordinating and communicating with multiple departments
  • Interacting with Account Executives and Advertising agencies
  • Inventory maintenance of Local and National Radio, and Local and National television commercials copy instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Assisting with research of discrepancies for representatives and agencies after billings
  • Additional duties as required, especially those that support the organization’s goals and objectives

Requirements for this position:

  • General office experience;
  • Microsoft Office and basis computer knowledge;
  • Strong data entry skills, and attention to detail;
  • Meeting deadlines;
  • Excellent time management skills.
