Description Part-Time Cashier Schedule: Part-Time Status: Non-Exempt About the Role We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Part-Time Cashier who can keep the checkout line moving and customers smiling. You’ll be the final stop in the customer experience, so accuracy, a good attitude, and basic math skills are key. If you can scan items, handle payments, and say “have a great day” like you mean it, you’re already halfway there. What You’ll Do Greet customers and ring up purchases quickly and accurately Handle cash, cards, and the occasional “this coupon should work” situation Keep your register area clean, organized, and stocked Answer basic questions or point customers in the right direction Work as part of a team to keep things running smoothly Requirements What We’re Looking For Friendly, dependable, and able to stay calm during busy times Comfortable handling money and basic transactions Good communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to learn (we’ll teach you the rest) Bonus Points If You Can make small talk without it being painful Don’t panic when the line gets long Know where at least one thing in the store is located Physical Demands Standing for extended periods Light lifting and movement around the checkout area Work Environment Fast-paced, customer-focused, and occasionally powered by coffee and patience.
