Description WaterMakers Inc. is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Representative to drive new business growth through equipment sales, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. This role is responsible for building a strong pipeline, owning the full sales cycle, and establishing key relationships across the marine and industrial ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with strong relationship-building skills, capable of identifying and closing high-value opportunities while expanding the company’s market presence. Location: Hybrid – Full-time/ Exempt Department: Sales Key Responsibilities Drive new business development through proactive prospecting and pipeline generation Own the full sales cycle from lead qualification through closing equipment sales Build and maintain strategic relationships with shipyards, brokers, and industry partners Identify and pursue high-value opportunities to expand market presence Develop and execute territory/account plans to consistently hit new revenue targets Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in CRM with weekly visibility Negotiate and close deals while aligning with company pricing and margin goals Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and successful project Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales or business development experience Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Experience managing full sales cycles in a B2B environment Ability to work independently and manage a defined territory Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) Willingness to travel as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience in marine, industrial equipment, or technical sales Existing relationships with shipyards, brokers, or related partners Experience selling high-value capital equipment Schedule Requirements & Working Conditions Monday - Friday Full-time, onsite position based at WaterMakers Benefits (available after 60 days for full-time employees): Medical coverage starting as low as $18 bi-weekly Supplemental Aflac coverage IRA with 3% company match Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Pay-for-performance opportunities Collaborative, fun, and engaging company culture
