Job description: Join our growing team! J&O Plastics is looking for hardworking, passionate, detail oriented and punctual Machine Operators. You will run the plastic injection molding machine to produce parts while following procedures and instructions to accomplish assignments of a routine and repetitive nature. Your goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency. In performing these responsibilities, you must work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that shows you are a part of the J&O Plastics team! We currently have openings for Machine Operators on all 3 shifts: 1st Shift- 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour 2nd Shift- 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm with a starting pay of $15.25 per hour 3rd Shift- 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with a starting pay of $15.50 per hour Duties/Responsibilities: · Safely operating a wide range of machinery equipment · Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications · Assemble boxes for filling with finished product · Seal, label and palletize finished product · Ability to work with hand tools · Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure a positive work environment to achieve total customer satisfaction · Must be reliable and maintain open communication with management to achieve all goals and production requirements · Maintaining a clean, neat and organized work areas · Utilize equipment to receive and complete product movement requests · Follow regulations, safety guidelines, and company procedures at all times · Working overtime when necessary. Overtime is a condition of employment · Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: · You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift · Excellent verbal/written communication skills · Ability to build professional, internal relationships · Ability to follow standard work regulations · Must be able to work in a hot-warehouse environment · Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment a plus · Open to cross-training in other functions/departments · Basic Math Skills · Maintain good punctuality and be a dependable team player Experience: · No experience needed! We will train those who are eager and ready to learn. Physical Requirements: · You must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift in a seasonally changing warehouse environment · Bending, lifting and kneeling
