Job Overview As the Executive Director of Operations at 3M’s Services LLC, you will be the driving force behind our mission to deliver high-quality, person-centered services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with the QIQA, Clinical, and HR/Finance Directors to strengthen operational systems, enhance quality outcomes, and ensure every member of our team is equipped to thrive. Responsibilities Provide executive oversight of all agency operations to ensure regulatory compliance, fiscal responsibility, and quality performance. Partner with the QIQA Director to implement continuous quality improvement and maintain alignment with 10A NCAC 27G and DHHS provider standards. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Oversee budgeting, contracting, and business development activities to support long-term growth. Cultivate a culture of teamwork, inclusion, and professional accountability across all departments. Lead process improvement initiatives, using data and feedback to optimize organizational performance. Mentor and develop department leaders to strengthen internal capacity and leadership pipelines. Represent 3M’s Services LLC in communications with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), community partners, and regulatory agencies. Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Services, Public Administration, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (required). 3–5 years of senior leadership or executive management experience, ideally within human services, behavioral health, or I/DD settings. 2–3 years of experience with Medicaid-funded programs under 1915(i) or 1915(c) waivers. Proven success in strategic planning, quality assurance, and operations management. Knowledge of NCDHHS regulations, MCO requirements, and person-centered care standards. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
