General Summary: General responsibility for all mowing, edging, and repairing divots of tees, greens, driving range. Essential Job Functions: Mowing of general golf course areas including tees, greens, driving range, edging, and repairing ball marks and divots Must report any damage by humans or pests on the course and general areas Knowledge of golf and regulations Knowledge of edger, weed eaters, mowers Maintain good communication between fellow employees, members and the public departments Mows greens, tees, roughs Responsible for heavy equipment operations Any and all instructions from Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent Requirements Essential Qualifications: Must have knowledge of turf equipment Must have a valid Florida driver’s license Must be insurable for automobile insurance with company’s auto insurance carrier Must have high tolerance to work long hours in the sun, heat and inclement weather Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English Must be able to lift 50 lbs
