Description PromptCare is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Internal Auditor / Documentation professional to join our team in New Providence, NJ. This role plays a critical part in supporting audit readiness, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with payor and regulatory requirements across all locations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, and thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment. Reporting to: VP of Reimbursement/Reimbursement Supervisor Job Type: Full-time Requirements Minimum education of a high school diploma or equivalent is required Healthcare service experience is a major advantage. Must have good communication skills: Telephone, email, and interoffice communications. Must have good PC skills, especially with the Microsoft Office suite of products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of CPR + is preferred. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Arrives at workstation at scheduled start time prepared to work and does not leave workstation until scheduled end time. Demonstrates a “team” philosophy in daily operations and problem solving methods. Is aware of, and complies with, with all federal and state regulatory agencies as instructed by the company (i.e., Boards of Pharmacy, HIPPA, CHAP, DOT, OSHA, DEA, DEP, etc.) Is aware of the surrounding physical environment to ensure a safe work environment. Arrives at all scheduled meetings on time and is prepared to participate. Participates in mandatory annual and bi-annual in-services and HIPAA training. Reports any potential HIPAA infringements to the Privacy Officer. Incorporates company or departmental changes effectively. Keeps all patient information confidential, in accordance with company procedures and HIPAA regulations. Keeps all financial information confidential, in accordance with company policy. Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude, and gets involved in PromptCare’s employee activities.
