Description Village at Belmar, Lakewood’s premiere senior living communities, is seeking a compassionate and organized Wellness Nurse to join our team. You will be responsible for providing residents with nursing services and administering medications and treatments. This is a full-time position working Thursday to Saturday, and alternating Wednesdays 7am to 7:00 pm. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders and regulations Monitor response to treatment plans Assist in writing service plans based on resident needs Qualifications: RN, LPN, or LVN license required CPR/First Aid certification One year of experience working with the elderly population preferred Excellent organizational skill and attention to detail Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, we do require a criminal background check be completed Pay: $36.00-38.00 an hour, based on experience
Responsibilities
The Wellness Nurse will provide nursing services and administer medications and treatments to residents. They will also assist in maintaining a supportive environment and monitor treatment plans.
