Description
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful Maintenance Technician candidate will repair and maintain equipment within several areas of responsibility. You will be a part of the team that maintains all physical aspects of the plant including service of electrical and mechanical systems, maintenance of production equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in relocating or installing building equipment as needed Troubleshooting injection molders, vacuum systems, conveyers, etc. Perform hydraulic repairs Identify and diagnose system failures Installing and aligning new equipment up to specification Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility and production system and equipment. Working independently with limited support for day-to-day repairs and PMs Operating standard maintenance tools in a safe manner Perform demolition and construction as necessary in the facilities Ability to work in a team environment as well as on your own Help maintain a professional, safe, and organized production facility Perform other tasks as assigned Robotics and Automation (STAR Cartesian 3-axis and FANUC 6-axis robots) Education and experience: Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma tools required Experience with Maintenance X helpful Collaborate and partner with other technicians, engineers, quality employees and production teams. Required Skills/Abilities: Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process, and quality system Strong mechanical and electrical skills Identify and record problems relating to the product, process, and quality system Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels Work Environment Humidity levels are elevated during summer months; plant floor is not climate controlled. Exposure to loud noise levels
Responsibilities
