About The Role The Arena Group manages four student living communities in College Station, Texas, including The Barracks Townhomes, Charleston Mills Luxury Townhomes, University Heights, and The Harbor at The Barracks. We’re passionate about creating unforgettable college experiences and building vibrant, connected communities where students thrive. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. If you love social media, enjoy being behind (and in front of) the camera, and have a passion for creating content that sparks connection, we want to meet you. What You'll Do 1. Social Media Management Collaborate with the Marketing Director to build a cohesive strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more Creating and scheduling all social media posts on a content calendar. Actively engage with our audience in comment sections and DMs to build relationships and brand loyalty Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics for all platforms 2. Content Creation & Brand Storytelling Capture and edit high-quality photo and video content that showcases our communities and residents using photo, live video, stories, graphics, polls, etc. Write fun, authentic captions that drive engagement and reflect our brand voice Collaborate with other departments to tell great stories and promote events Maintain and organize our growing digital asset library 3. Trendspotting & Research Stay ahead of social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram Identify content we can remix, respond to, or share with our audience Regularly pitch fresh ideas for content and campaigns 4. “Surprise & Delight” Campaigns Plan and execute creative giveaways, scavenger hunts, pop-ups, and other interactive campaigns Build partnerships with local businesses for co-branded promotions that align with our values 5. Resident Event Planning Create and manage a fun, on-brand resident event calendar Lead pre-event creative planning sessions Develop Event Operations Plans including budgets, layouts, staffing, and post-event recaps/surveys Attend and capture content at all Barracks events and social activations What We're Looking For Strong photo and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, etc.) Comfortable being on camera and approaching residents for interviews or photos Obsessed with growing Instagram and TikTok in meaningful, measurable ways Passionate about student life, community building, and great storytelling Highly organized, with strong time management and communication skills Willing and excited to attend all resident events (typically in the early evening on weekdays) Bonus Points If You… Have experience working in property management, student housing, or hospitality Have a graphic design background or experience creating branded marketing materials Company Offered Benefits Paid Time Off - Vacation, Sick, Parental & more... 13 Company Paid Holidays 401(k) - up to 4% match Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Plans Offered Company Paid - Basic Life, Long Term Disability & Short Term Disability Plans
