Description Responsibilities & Requirements: Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine welding requirements. Assemble, fit, and tack weld parts in accordance with engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and written work instructions. Perform welding in horizontal and vertical positions. Use weld gauges to verify proper weld size and interpret tolerances. Weld a variety of metals, including galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Read and accurately use a tape measure. Test and inspect products in accordance with established inspection procedures. Operate fork trucks, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively. AWS welding certification (D1.1 or D1.3) preferred but not required. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for the duration of the scheduled shift. Requirements Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a MIG welder or currently attending classes for Welding Certification. Ability to stand, kneel, and squat for the duration of the scheduled shift. Willingness to submit to and successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and a background check.
