We are seeking a Part-Time Dispatcher & Scheduler to work out of our Yorkville office, Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM. At Voluntary Action Center, we support seniors and individuals with disabilities in staying connected to essential services and their community. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping our transportation services running smoothly, helping coordinate rides that make a meaningful impact in people’s lives. What You’ll Do Schedule and update daily transportation routes Answer calls and assist clients and drivers Share delays, changes, and updates Use scheduling and mapping software Help ensure safe, reliable, on-time service Check vehicles due for maintenance and prepare service lists Review and confirm rides at the end of the day Why Join VAC? Requires the ability to operate a vehicle and standard office equipment, along with strong vision, hearing, and coordination. Must be able to meet DOT medical requirements for public transit drivers.
