OUR CORE VALUES Kindness – Grit – Positivity – Ownership - Helpfulness PRODUCTION ASSISTANT – 2nd SHIFT Mon-Thurs 4:25pm - 2:55am Production Assistants perform a variety of tasks in support of production operations. Responsibilities include: Removes laser cut parts from sheet metal and prepares if for the next operation. Reads job specifications (e.g. blueprints, quality control plans and/or traveler notes) to ensure conformance. Assists with production including receiving and shipping, fabrication, etc. Preps and cleans work piece surfaces using a variety of hand tools such as grinders to remove slag, scratches and burs. Cleans equipment and machines. Assist with locating, lifting, and transferring parts and material. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. May assist in various areas as production needs require. Requirements Ability to use hand held measuring tools such as a tape measure and calipers. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Computer skills as they pertain to this job. Must be able and willing to work as part of a team. Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, blue prints, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.

Responsibilities

Production Assistants support production operations by removing laser-cut parts from sheet metal and preparing them for subsequent steps. This includes assisting with fabrication, receiving, shipping, and maintaining clean work areas and equipment.
