Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced safety professional to join our growing Work Health and Safety team. As the Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner you will work closely with the MedHealth Work Health and Safety Manager to drive the strategic and operational safety and wellbeing needs of the division, ensuring a physical and psychologically safe and thriving workplace. Key focus areas include: Development, enhancement, implementation and management of programs of work relating to risk assessment, injury prevention, physical and psychosocial hazard management and overall wellbeing Provision of just in time support, as required, in response to incidents and hazards Monitoring of trends and preparation of detailed reports, and recommendations, to stakeholders Development of toolkits and resources and ensure leaders/key personnel are equipped to provide necessary supports to team members and appropriate frameworks are in place Management of lone work platforms and processes across the division Development and management of campaigns, initiatives, and strategies to promote safety and wellbeing Qualifications You have qualifications in WHS and practical experience in designing, implementing and monitoring safety and wellbeing strategies and initiatives. Experience working within an NDIS, community based or healthcare setting is highly regarded. You will also have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, collaborative and pragmatic approach A solution focused outlook The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment The successful candidate will be required to obtain a satisfactory NDIS Screener and Police Record clearance.
