Mecademic Inc., a leading Canadian robotics firm, is expanding its footprint in the United States and seeks an experienced Senior Area Sales Manager to drive business development and sales efforts on the East Coast .

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Area Sales Manager with expertise in large account management and a proven track record in automation sales. You’ll be instrumental in driving growth, managing key accounts, and establishing long-term partnerships. REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in sales, channel and large account management
  • Proven success in managing and growing relationships with large industrial customers
  • Technical knowledge of robots or automation systems
  • Familiarity with the industrial and manufacturing landscape of the Midwest, including sectors like medical devices, automotive and aerospace components, electronics and electrical equipment, and pharmaceuticals and biotech research
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; being a CRM power user is essential
Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and sales efforts in the Midwest region, focusing on large accounts and high-value partnerships
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas in the assigned region (this is a commission-based position)
  • Collaborate with end-customers for validation, testing, and prototyping
  • Engage with OEM’s (machine builders) to integrate our technologies for scaled-up production
  • Work closely with partners and key decision-makers
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer relationships and track sales activities effectively
  • Contribute to building a larger business presence and market share in the U.S.
