Description Wire Harness Assembly Technician- Level II POSITION SUMMARY: Level II Technicians will primarily be responsible for building assemblies ranging from intermediate to complex wire harnesses. Technicians II will be expected to have a wide knowledge of hand tools and machines to complete various tasks. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or work instructions to perform required tasks to complete a portion of, or entire assembly. Maintain work area compliance to all Standards including but not limited to; all required materials are to be labeled and properly stored; each work area used must be cleaned after use; all tools are to be put away when not in use; Work Order packets are to remain with their corresponding jobs with all documents accounted for. Comply with all ElectriPack standard building procedures including but not limited to; First Piece Inspections, Mid-Process Inspections, Work in Progress Documentation, and Electronic Labor Tracking. Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production Actively participate in all required training Regular attendance at work Perform other duties as assigned. Show initiative Requirements Required: Must be performing “At the Bar” or greater Scanning in and out of work orders correctly (%) Create and Printing Labels Completes work orders under quoted times Less than 20% Rework Rate Level 2 Hand Crimping Training PICO Crimper Training Level 1 AMP Press Training Level 1 Sonic Welder Training Heatshrink Cutter Training Fully Cross-trained in one other area of the wire harness assembly production area Must have achieved IPC/WMMA 620 Certification
