Copywriter Intern Department: Creative Relevate Health | June 1 – July 24, 2026 Relevate Health is excited to launch our 2026 Summer Internship Program, an immersive, hands-on experience designed for students eager to gain real-world experience in healthcare marketing, data, technology, and business operations. This is an 8-week paid internship program beginning June 1, 2026, and interns must be available to participate for the full duration of the program. Intern will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical marketing writing, learning to develop messaging for payer markets and health systems while adhering to industry regulatory guidelines. They will participate in the complete creative process by developing marketing materials from initial concept through final execution and field deployment. Key Responsibilities & Projects Support payer education and health systems initiatives: Contribute to ongoing projects that educate payer and health systems audiences about specific diseases, treatments, and population health initiatives Conduct research and documentation: Assist with research, competitive analysis, and development of key client documents (eg, messaging platforms, value propositions, educational materials) Actively participate in meetings: Attend team meetings and provide creative ideas and strategic recommendations Work across departments: Partner with Art, Editorial, Medical, Strategy, Project Management, and Account teams throughout the project lifecycle Complete a capstone project: Develop and present a final project showcasing your work and learnings at the end of the internship About the Department The Copy Department creates strategic messaging and materials for pharmaceutical companies to improve patient access to medications and increase health system usage of products. We create content for payers and health systems involving coverage advocacy, provider education on prescribing protocols, workflow optimization for patient inquiries, and B2B presentations demonstrating the value of health system-pharma partnerships. How the Intern Will Support the Team The Copywriter Intern will be a valued team member, fully integrated into daily client deliverables. Reporting to a Copy Supervisor, the intern will support projects across multiple pharmaceutical brands. Daily responsibilities may include refining content, incorporating edits, developing creative storytelling approaches, fact-checking and accuracy reviews, and supporting projects through all phases—from initial manuscript development through regulatory approval to market launch. Expected Outcomes by End of Internship Hands-on pharmaceutical marketing writing experience Knowledge of market access strategies that improve provider access to products An understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance and legal guidelines Cross-functional collaboration across Art, Medical, Editorial, Strategy, Project Management, and Account teams End-to-end project workflows within a pharmaceutical marketing agency Preferred Academic Focus: Majors or concentrations in communications, marketing, journalism, English/writing, public relations, public health Eligibility Requirements Current undergraduate or graduate student Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate
