Responsibilities

WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE ROLE?

At our Head Office based in Vancouver BC (with potential hybrid arrangement), the Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling, on-brand content across a range of channels—from high-level campaign messaging to detailed product copy. This mid-level role requires 5+ years of experience and the ability to seamlessly shift between big-picture brand storytelling and performance-driven content.
You bring a strong understanding of brand voice and know how to bring it to life across every customer touchpoint, collaborating closely with designers and marketers to create messaging that is thoughtful, strategic, and uniquely Organika.
Let’s get into the detail. This role will:

Brand Messaging & Voice

  • Be a steward of Organika’s brand voice—ensuring consistency, personality, and clarity across all channels.
  • Craft copy that inspires, educates, and builds brand trust while supporting broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to develop key campaign messages, content pillars, and creative concepts.
  • Contribute to the development and evolution of our brand tone and content guidelines.

Content Creation

  • Write engaging copy for digital ads, email, SMS, website, product pages, social media, packaging, in-store, PR, and special projects.
  • Create educational, conversion-driven content with clarity, accuracy, and brand personality.
  • Understand and translate product features, benefits to target audiences with effective messaging that resonates.
  • Support additional copy needs as required.

Collaboration & Editorial Oversight

  • Partner closely with the design team to develop campaign concepts, headlines, and narratives.
  • Support marketing, e-comm, innovation, and digital teams with smart, strategic copy.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure high standards of grammar, tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
  • Stay up to date on trends in content, copywriting, and consumer language—especially in wellness, health, and CPG spaces.

Perform other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, ideally in CPG, wellness, health, or lifestyle brands.
  • A versatile writer who can toggle between brand-driven storytelling and performance-based content with ease.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex or technical topics in a way that’s accessible, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Comfortable working across both short-form (headlines, social, email) and long-form (blogs, product education, brand storytelling) formats.
  • An excellent communicator and collaborator with strong creative instincts.
  • Extremely detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and feedback loops in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative, high-output team.
  • Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Experience writing for natural health products, wellness, or supplements.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices or performance marketing.
  • French language skills or ability to translate copy.
  • Experience supporting packaging copy or in-store content
