We are looking for motivated, and energetic people to join our dynamic Team on 2nd shift Requirements You will make an impact and be successful in this role with the following skills and responsibilities: Position Summary Core assembler is responsible for building cores for Heat Exchangers. There are two (2) levels for this position, A and B. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Needs to understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they are related to this position. Must read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and drawings. Perform visual inspection on components. Scrap non-conforming material. CORE ASSEMBLER "B" Entry Level Core Assembly Technician Position. May require 0-1 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Be able to build cores per BOM and prints. Be able to operate a turbulator saw. Inspect parts for damage and use SAP transactions. Be able to complete tasks in a timely manner. Requires a high school diploma, must pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days. Reports to a Lead or supervisor. Will use SAP transactions. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead or direct the work of others. Skills and Attributes Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English. Must pay attention to details. This position requires dexterity and fine motor skills in catching material flaws. Ability to perform basic mathematical computations (add, subtract, and divide). Must be able to independently seek assistance from supervision and/or other departments in order to perform given tasks. Must be able to stand 8–10-hour days. Lifting up to 25 pounds infrequently. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; prior assembly experience preferred. Safety and Personal Protective Equipment Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
