Job Description: Technical Support and Incident Management * Provide level 2 support for core banking systems issues (transactions, EOD batch jobs, users reported issues) * Attend to system alerts, perform diagnostics, and escalate *unknown / new issues to Core Banking Systems Tech Lead and Core Banking Systems Tech Delivery (L3), and / or vendor (when necessary) *Note: for known issues, it’s per documented in Confluence * Follow IT Incident Management SOP, to track and resolve the tickets raised by users    System Maintenance * Conduct regular health check on Core Banking systems, including jobs and queues utilization. * Assist in applying patches, updates and fixes. Perform verification and capture artefacts for Core Banking Systems Tech Lead review and acknoledgement in testing environment pior to the implementation in production environment.   User & Application Support * Assist bank users with Core Banking systems navigation, and troubleshooting.  * Support end-users in testing and validating fixes before deployment to production. * Document recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base articles in Confluence.   Change & Release Support * Assist in testing system changes, upgrades and parameters update. * Follow IT Change Management SOP to ensure compliance and minimize disruption due from change. * Validate / engage business users for post-implementation of functionality and fixes of reported issues   Compliance & Security * Assist in audit preparations by providing the artefacts requested by the relevant parties. * Report security vulnerabilities or suspicious activities promptly.     Key Requirements: * Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields * 3+ years in technical support for Core Banking systems * Hands-on experience with SIBS Core Banking system, including command, job monitoring and RPG & CL scripting * Exposure to branch delivery and trade finance systems  * Understanding of DB2 database, SQL queries and job scheduler * Knowledge in application management for incident, problem and change management in banking environment * Strong problem solving and analytical abilities * Effective communication to interact with users and teams * Willingness to learn and expand the knowledge in both technologies and functional With operations that span 15 different markets across the region, the opportunity to expand your experience, test your capabilities, and exhibit your resilience is ample.  #teamCIMB  is always keen to welcome the ones who are ready to make that very special difference – for themselves and the bank.
