Job Description
The SQL Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
We’re seeking a highly motivated analyst with strong analytical and data skills to support end-to-end system mapping, critical data element identification, lead requirements gathering, design and development across multiple technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data lineage analysis, mapping data flow between systems (source to target).
• Identify and document physical and logical data elements, including Critical Data Elements (CDEs) per regulatory or business criteria.
• Analyze existing data models, source systems, and integration layers to extract metadata.
• Actively contribute to data governance initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Applications Development role
• 4+years with the following:Languages/Frameworks: PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, Core Java
• 4+ years experience and proficient in Java, SQL, data profiling, and data mapping tools.
• 3+ years experience and understanding of logical and physical data models, data dictionaries, and metadata management.
• Experience working on projects involving data transformation, system integration, or data warehousing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Business knowledge of Financial Markets, Trading, Middle Office and Back Office function
• Knowledge of GitHub/Version Control Systems, Kafka
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Experience the Financial Service industry is preferred

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent experience
