JOB SUMMARY:

The Corian Cutter and Polisher is responsible for cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing Corian (or other solid surface) materials to create countertops, wall cladding, vanity tops, and custom furniture elements. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and experience in solid surface fabrication and polishing techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with Corian or other solid surface materials.
  • Skilled in cutting, glueing, sanding, and polishing solid surfaces.
  • Knowledge of tools like routers, orbital sanders, grinders, and edge polishers.
  • Ability to follow detailed drawings and templates.
  • High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
  • Physical fitness for lifting, bending, and long hours of standing.
  • Basic communication skills, Hindi or Urdu preferred.

    Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,500.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Cut Corian or other solid surface sheets to precise measurements using cutting tools or CNC machines.
  • Join pieces using appropriate adhesives and thermoforming techniques.
  • Perform sanding, buffing, and polishing to achieve a smooth, seamless finish.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, templates, and shop drawings.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and accurately.
  • Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary adjustments or refinements.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and care of tools and machines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE during fabrication.
