What will you be doing as a Class 2Driver?

• Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
• Multidrop deliveries to high street stores and trading estates.
• Many deliveries mechanical off load and some stores assist with deliveries.
• Vehicles fitted with equipment to offload items.
• Collecting returns from customers’ properties
• Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
• Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
• Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
• Always providing a first-class customer service experience

Relevant skills and experience as a Class 2 Driver:

• This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items
• Valid LGV, HGV Class 2 License
• Valid Digital Tachograph card
• Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC)
• A general understanding of driver’s hours legislation and working time directive
• No more than 6 points on driving license
