EXO Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s most successful independent (Chartered) insurance brokerages.
Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ an experienced Corporate Account Handler.

Salary: up to £50k (dependant on experience) plus extensive benefits
You will ideally have over 3 years experience dealing with commercial/corporate sized policies (GWP over £40k). Acturis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE CORPORATE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

You’ll be responsible for the account handling of commercial lines customers with risks ranging from Motor Trade, Property Owners, Commercial Combined and Fleet etc.
You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

MAIN DUTIES IN THE CORPORATE INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

  • Responsible for growing our client’s commercial book through new business / arranging policies for new clients
  • Be a point of referral within the team
  • Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
  • Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.
  • Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business

THE SKILLS YOU’LL BRING TO THE CORPORATE INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

  • Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 3 years is essential - ideally with experience of dealing with commercial/corporate sized policies (GWP over £40k)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Organised and effective worker
  • Preferably Acturis experience
