PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Ensuring accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer and conducting high quality work in relation to; New Business, Renewals, Mid-term adjustments, Claims, Queries and Premium Finance Arrangements
· Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures as detailed in the Conduct Polices and Guides to Best Practice
· Always promoting exceptional customer care standards
· Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with both insurance companies and clients, providing expert product advice and guidance
· Conducting full marketing exercises both for New & Existing Business across a wide range of commercial products
· Actively securing renewal business by re-broking existing business to ensure the client is presented with the most suitable and cost-effective cover
· Supporting our Account Executives with various duties where required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum 5 years experience as an Account Handler role within a commercial broker environment
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider industry
  • Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance
  • Experience of working in Advised Financial Services environment
  • I.T. skills including use of an insurance IT system
  • Strong organisational skills
  • The ability to work to a high level of accuracy
  • Exemplary customer service skills with the ability to build solid relationships with clients and insurers
  • Regulatory and compliance awareness
Responsibilities

As our Account Handler, you will be reporting into and supporting our Corporate Account Manager. Your primary function will be to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our key accounts.
