We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our growing finance team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-3 years of accounting experience (including co-op or internship experience).
  • A university degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Actively pursuing a CPA designation is a strong asset.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new software is required; prior experience with an ERP system is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Support the monthly and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Help manage tax compliance, including gathering data for HST filings and corporate tax returns.
  • Contribute to Accounts Receivable functions by preparing aging reports and assisting with collections follow-up.
  • Learn and become proficient in our ERP system (Sage Intacct or NetSuite), helping to ensure data accuracy.
  • Participate in projects to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
