CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT

This position plays a critical role in supporting financial oversight within the plant, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. The Senior Accountant will assist the Controller in maintaining control over financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
The role requires preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring data integrity, and providing strategic financial insights. Responsibilities include monthly financial statement preparation, auditing and reconciling general ledger accounts, and managing inventory-related schedules. Additionally, the position involves overseeing budget preparation, financial forecasting, and compliance reporting.
The Senior Accountant will also supervise daily accounting functions, ensuring adherence to company policies and best practices. The working environment is primarily within the plant, with occasional site visits or travel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in ABC costing systems and ADP payroll processing.
  • Strong computer skills (PC, AS 400).
  • Well-developed analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in standard costing, variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and performance measurement.
