Description

Master Millwork is a cutting-edge custom millwork firm that leverages the latest equipment and technologies to deliver high-quality cabinetry and architectural millwork. We specialize in commercial contracts for hotels, luxury apartments, long-term care facilities, and universities, providing a comprehensive turnkey operation from the start and beginning of a project.
We’re looking for a Corporate Accountant with a strong foundation of accounting principles, reporting, and compliance to help manage the business’ finances. An ideal candidate will be hands on and have a great attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, annual closing and financial statement prep
  • Assist with the filing of corporate and payroll taxes
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Handling company insurance policies
  • Approving/handling phone sales and orders
  • Booking travel needs for employees (flights, hotels, etc)
  • Handling/Supervising payroll needs (PTO and sick time tracking, insurance deductions, child support deductions, etc)
  • External and internal audits

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft, especially Excel
  • Experience with Sage preferred
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
