CORPORATE AND TRUST FUNDRAISER
The British Hen Welfare Trust is a national hen welfare charity which rehomes over 60,000 hens a year. We work collaboratively with the egg industry, public, and many national stakeholders to improve hen welfare and raise awareness of hens around the globe. Our work extends further to education, mental wellbeing, nutritional campaigns, and global veterinary initiatives. Egg-citingly, in August last year, we rehomed our ONE MILLIONTH HEN with none other than His Majesty King Charles III at Highgrove Gardens.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to join the British Hen Welfare Trust at a time of incredible momentum, following our world-first campaign and royal rehoming achievement.
As our Corporate and Trust Fundraiser, you will be the main point of contact and organise and oversee partnerships within the BHWT’s Corporate and Trusts portfolio. Working closely with either the CEO and / or our Director of Operations, you will develop and shape income and engagement from corporate partners including identifying new business opportunities with a view to building a pipeline for future growth and sustainability.
You will work with: Internal teams including Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, Rehoming Teams, our Online Shop, Trustees and Volunteers. You will also work with External Teams including Marketing and CSR Corporate contacts, Trust Administrators and PR/Social Agencies. You will be responsible for Corporate Partnerships & Charitable Trusts and Foundations income.
You will bring a fresh perspective and dynamic energy to our purpose-driven team during our 20th Year. Every week, we save thousands of hens from slaughter and positively impact countless lives across the United Kingdom.
