JOB DESCRIPTION:

Are you a driven and enthusiastic individual looking to start your career in sales? IndustryNow is seeking a dynamic and motivated Corporate Brand Sales Executive to join our high-performing team in Toronto. In this role, you will play a crucial part in securing new and repeat attendance at IndustryNow events, while staying informed about industry challenges and trends. You will also be responsible for researching and generating new leads, understanding the relevance of agenda speakers to potential prospects, and contributing to our ambitious sales targets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with clients and conveying the value of our events. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Research Abilities: Ability to conduct thorough research and stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Self-Motivation: A self-motivated and results-driven approach is key to thriving in this role. You should be proactive in seeking out new opportunities and driven to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Understanding of Relevance: Ability to understand and convey the relevance of speakers and event content to potential prospects.
  • Adaptability and Learning: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. A desire to continually improve and grow in your role both individually and as part of a team
  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required. We value potential and a willingness to learn.
  • Education: College or University Degree

Responsibilities
  • Secure Attendance: Proactively drive new and repeat attendance at IndustryNow events by engaging with potential and existing clients. Utilize your sales acumen to convey the value and benefits of our events.
  • Lead Generation: Conduct thorough research to generate net new leads and expand our client base. Utilize various tools and techniques to identify and reach out to potential prospects.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities through our CRM
  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry challenges and trends to better understand client needs and position our events as essential resources. Leverage this knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Speaker Relevance: Develop a deep understanding of the agenda speakers and their relevance to potential prospects. Communicate how our speakers’ insights can address the specific needs and interests of our clients.
  • Target Achievement: Contribute to and deliver on weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and campaign targets. Demonstrate a relentless pursuit of growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ambassador: Capacity to represent the company and its interests as a brand ambassador. Big Picture thinking through follow up calls, email correspondence, coordinating appointments, and presenting metrics
