The Corporate Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and utilities management for over 12 corporate locations in the United States. This role requires a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure that all buildings are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. The Corporate Building Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including building staff, contractors, and senior management, to deliver a high level of service and operational efficiency. You will make an impact in this role by impacting key responsibilities including: Building Maintenance Develop and implement maintenance plans for all corporate buildings. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues promptly. Coordinate and supervise repair work, ensuring that it meets quality standards and is completed within budget and on time. Maintain an inventory of necessary maintenance supplies and equipment. Ensure that all buildings are compliant with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Utilities Management Oversee the management of utilities for all locations, including electricity, water, heating, and cooling systems. Monitor and manage utility consumption to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Work with utility providers to ensure uninterrupted service and resolve any issues swiftly. Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices. Maintain accurate records of utility usage and costs for reporting purposes. Critical skills and competencies required for this role include: Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of building systems and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high performance and operational excellence. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, contractors, and senior management. Cost Management: Ability to forecast, budget, and manage expenses to optimize building maintenance and utility costs. Requirements To be considered for the Corporate Building Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications: Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in building management or facilities maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer software used for facilities management. Certifications in facilities management or related areas are a plus. Additional details include: Full-time position with standard business hours; may require occasional evening or weekend work. Travel (as required) between multiple corporate locations within the United States. Ability to work in a variety of environments, including office settings and on-site at different buildings.
