POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a sales professional who is proactive, reliable, presentable, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial and has the ability to secure new business and client relationships from law firms, financial institutions, media companies, hospitals, and other professional organizations in New York City. This individual will be responsible for generating new business through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and relationship-building, while maintaining a professional, polished presence with clients as he/she represents Sage & Zest.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the corporate catering, hospitality, or food service industry in New York City.
  • Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and networking skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — responsive, polished, professional, and persuasive.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a hunter mentality.
  • Presentable, polished, and confident in professional settings.
  • Knowledge of the NYC corporate catering market and existing industry contacts a plus.
